1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using PermitKit™ (the “Service”), operated by Robbie Bobby LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

PermitKit provides food truck operators with researched information about permits, licenses, inspections, and regulatory requirements across US cities. The Service includes a free browsing tier and paid subscription plans with additional features such as full requirement details, compliance tracking, document storage, and renewal reminders.

3. Accounts

To access paid features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

  • Paid plans are billed annually. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with 30 days' notice.
  • Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.
  • Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us within 14 days of purchase if you are unsatisfied.
  • If you cancel, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period, after which your account reverts to the free tier.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service without our written permission.
  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the permit information or any content from the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems.

6. Information Accuracy

We research permit requirements directly from official government sources and strive to keep our information accurate and up to date. However, regulations change frequently and without notice. PermitKit is an informational tool, not a substitute for professional legal or regulatory advice.

You are solely responsible for verifying all permit requirements with the relevant government agencies before relying on them. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any information provided through the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including text, graphics, logos, data compilations, and software — are owned by Robbie Bobby LLC and protected by US and international intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Robbie Bobby LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: loss of revenue, fines or penalties from regulatory non-compliance, business interruption, or loss of data.

Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Robbie Bobby LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 6 through 10 survive termination.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
